The Sonim XP8 is a smart device with a 5-inch screen that is easy to operate with wet hands and gloves. The XP8 also functions perfectly in extreme conditions and has a large, tactile and intuitive PTT, SOS and volume buttons and controls. This makes communication easy and error-free.

The Sonim XP8 smart device is fully water and dust proof (IP69) and is drop-proof up to 1.5 metres (MIL-STD810G). It is an ATEX zone 2/22 certified smartphone. Only ATEX certified telephones may be used in areas where there is an explosion risk as they do not produce heat, sparks or fire and are therefore explosion-proof. In addition, the XP8 is equipped with Android 10, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.

The Sonim XP8 is included in Google’s Android Enterprise Recommended programme (AER). This is intended to help companies choose the best Android devices. Audio accessories can be firmly anchored to the smartphone via the SecureAudio Connector on the XP8.
