The equipment selected by us meets the following requirements:
Minimally IP 67 standardised
The first number is the degree of protection against contact and intrusive objects. 6 stands for dust free. The device is touch-safe because the casing is completely sealed and therefore completely protected against dust. The second number is the degree of protection against moisture. 7 stands for waterproof. Waterproof means that no water penetrates when a device is submerged at a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes.
Shock-proof in accordance with MIL-STD-810G
The mobile devices are so robust that they still fully function after a drop test of 1.5 metres. Moreover, the equipment also continues to function fully at a temperature between −20 ⁰C and +60 ⁰C.
Equipped with a Push-to-Talk button
All devices selected by us are equipped with a specially assigned Push-to-Talk button that is different in size and texture so that it is easy to find..
Equipped with an emergency button
The mobile devices are equipped with an emergency button connected to the application that activates an emergency call.
Equipped with a speaker of at least 2 watts
In addition, the speaker has a diameter of at least 30 mm. This way, we can guarantee optimal audio qualities.
Equipped with a battery with a capacity of at least 3500 mAh
In the development of our Push-to-Talk application, the data usage and battery consumption have been taken into account. The objective is that the Push-to-Talk application does not use more than 10% of the battery capacity. However, this strongly depends on environmental factors. A battery capacity of at least 3500 mAH is more than sufficient for a full working day.
